HOW I WORK

01. DISCOVERY CALL

We’ll kick things off with a 30-minute discovery call where I will guide you through a brand questionnaire. These questions help me to understand your business, goals, and vision for the future. It’s also a great chance to see if we’re the right fit for each other. By the end of the call, we’ll have a verbal agreement of the project deliverables, time-frame and budget in place.

02. ONBOARDING

Using the information gathered from our discovery call, I will create a bespoke project proposal and deposit invoice of 50% of the agreed fee. Once settled, we’re ready to go!

03. RESEARCH

Before jumping into the design process, I start with thorough research. This phase involves exploring your industry, competitors, and target audience to identify design styles that best fit the strategy for the business. Throughout this stage, I analyse the brief to map out relevant keywords and themes that will shape the creative direction of the project.

04. DESIGN DIRECTION

Once I’ve gathered these insights, I’ll create a minimum of two moodboards that capture the overall look and feel of your brand. These will showcase potential logo styles, typography pairings, and colour palettes. You’ll then select the direction that feels right for your brand, and I’ll move forward into the full creative development phase.

05. INITIAL IDEAS

After confirming which design direction you’d like to pursue, I begin to iterate as many logos as possible to arrive at those eureka moments! With lots of sketching and prototyping, we eliminate any surface level ideas that go beyond the obvious to deliver a brand with meaning and value.

06. IDEA REFINEMENT

At this point, I’ve identified the strongest solution for your brief and I begin to introduce colour, typography and other key elements.

07. DESIGN PRESENTATION

With the design work complete, I’ll put together a comprehensive presentation that walks you through each of my design decisions, explaining the thinking behind every choice. I’ll also include industry-specific mockups, so you can see exactly how your new branding will come to life in the real world.

08. FEEDBACK

After you’ve had time to evaluate the design presentation, we’ll come together to review the concept, share your feedback, and make sure you’re completely satisfied before I prepare the final design assets. My packages include up to three rounds of revisions to perfect the chosen concept. If a new concept needs to be explored, this can also be offered.
